Milkybar has existed since 1937; it is the number 1 brand in the manufacture of white chocolate. In 1875, Henri Nestlé and Daniel Peter invented white chocolate. In 1929, Nestlé purchased the chocolate company of Daniel Peter, who had chocolate expertise dating back to 1819. Soon after, Nestlé realized that they could make non-medicinal versions of Nestrovit, and Milkybar is born (known as Galak in some countries, including France).
